The Workers' Compensation Board has concluded the public consultation period on its Loss of Earnings Assessment Policy (DISCUSSION PAPER). As you my know, the Public Compensation Coalition has been working hard demanding improvements to the assessment policy and to the benefits and pensions paid to permanently injured workers.

While this review is limited in scope, the PCC believed it was very important to respond and to make our case for improvements. You can read our response by clicking here.

We want to be sure that the Board understands that there is widespread public support for our response and our recommendations. In three easy steps, you can make a difference!

  1. Download and read the PCC's response to the review.
  2. Send an email to policy@worksafebc.com. Use the subject line LOE Assessment Policy Review. Tell them that you have read the Public Compensation Coalition's paper and that
    you support our recommendations.
  3. Ask ten of your friends to take action on this important issue. Send them this link: http://publiccompensation.ca
